Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking a part-time Team Member to join our quick-service crew in a fast-paced environment in Georgia. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare items, and ensure accurate cash handling while upholding our brand standards.

As the face of Firehouse Subs, you will deliver friendly service, upsell menu items, keep stations clean, and support teammates during busy periods. Training will be provided if you’re new to the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or retail is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations are important.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is preferred.
• Experience in customer service roles within food industry or retail environments helps.

Essential Functions include:

• Prepare and assemble menu items efficiently, following established recipes and quality standards.
• Operate POS systems like Aloha and Micros to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly.
• Deliver excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with food safety practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Support team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a smooth flow during busy hours.
• Manage time effectively to serve guests promptly while maintaining high standards of quality and friendliness.
