Responsibilities

  • Operates fire service equipment, hoses, nozzles, and rescue tools.
  • Provides or assists with emergency medical care as a first responder or EMT.
  • Conducts fire prevention and safety education activities.
  • Assists in building inspections and familiarization surveys; prepares pre-fire plans.
