Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of the EVD/EVOC courses or FAO: Pumper certification.
• Certified Hazardous Materials-Awareness and Operations level.
• NIMS IS-700.b and IS-800.c completed.

Responsibilities

• Answer emergency calls and provide fire suppression and basic EMS care.
• Inspect buildings and advise actions to minimize fire hazards.
• Maintain equipment, apparatus, hoses, turnout gear, and vehicles.
• Comply with fire codes, regulations, and department policies.
