Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age by end of the application period.
• US Citizen or Legal Resident.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Certification(s) in one of three categories by time of application (TCFP Firefighter; DSHS Paramedic/EMT-B with NREMT; ITLS/AMLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergencies with firefighting/rescue and EMS duties.
• Operates life-saving tools and equipment and coordinates with other responders.
• Performs public safety duties including inspections, training, and equipment maintenance.
