Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have Texas TCFP Basic Fire Certification and EMT or Paramedic Certification.

• Paramedic certification/credentialing may be required per department.
• Reciprocity with another state or IFSAC/National Registry may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all fire, rescue, medical, and other calls for service up to and including Advanced Life Support depending on certification.
• Maintain station, vehicles and equipment for fire suppression and prevention.
• Sustain a high level of preparedness for emergencies.
