Qualifications

• Combination of training, education, and experience to provide required knowledge and abilities.
• Graduate of an approved Paramedic Program and certification as a Paramedic.
• Advanced degree in fire, health or environmental science would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Combat fires and respond to emergency medical calls.
• Extract and rescue individuals from fire and entrapment.
• Provide medical treatment and patient care on scene and en route.
• Operate and maintain fire department equipment, apparatus, and stations.
• Participate in training and supervise staff in absence of Fire Captain.
