Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and firefighting/EMT training.
• Required certifications: CPR for Healthcare Providers, EMT, ACLS, PALS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency calls as mobile medical unit attendant or driver.
• Maintains readiness and stocks equipment for ambulances and stations.
• Assesses scenes, prioritizes care, and stabilizes patients.
• Performs basic and advanced life support per protocols.
• Drives ambulances and firefighting vehicles under safety rules.
• Completes required forms and maintains records related to patient care and operations.
• Participates in public safety education and community outreach as needed.
