Fort Bend County Emergency Services District No. 2 is seeking a Full-Time Firefighter/EMT-Basic (Paramedic preferred) for Katy, TX. The Willowfork Fire Department operates across three stations and serves a large district with a strong EMS integration and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current TCFP Basic firefighter certification.
• EMT-B certification by the Texas Department of Health and Services.
• Able to read, write, and fluently speak English; bilingual a plus.
• NIMS 100/200/700/800 certifications.
• Pass an entrance medical examination.
• Pass a drug test.
• Pass District PAT.
• HS Diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Fire and EMS incidents.
• Provide public education and home safety surveys.
• Perform pre-fire plan surveys and station/apparatus maintenance.
• Attend required training and maintain certifications.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment during operations.
