Qualifications

• Background check, MVR, and potential driver’s license validation.
• Fluency in Tohono O’odham language and English may be required.
• Ability to pass a written and physical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to fire, EMS and rescue calls affecting residents and property.
• Select, lay and operate hose lines to extinguish fires.
• Climb ladders and use forcible entry tools and ropes.
• Rescue victims and create ventilation openings as needed.
• Maintain and inspect equipment, stations and grounds.
• Participate in drills and public fire prevention education.
• Drive firefighting vehicles and respond to emergencies.
• Travel within the Nation as required.
