Responsibilities include receiving firearms, disposing transfers to licensed dealers, auditing inventory, and training staff on compliance and selling skills.

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of complex compliance regulations and handling confidential information.
• Experience in customer service and sales of firearms and hunting merchandise.
• Familiarity with 4473 paperwork and state regulations (GCA, ATF).
• Knowledge of firearms and ammunition, inventory control, and safety procedures.
• Adept at using store computer systems and performing transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Receive/acquire firearms and verify accuracy against documents and ARMS records.
• Dispose firearms per policy and verify disposition data daily.
• Conduct monthly firearms audits and ensure ATF forms are correctly completed.
• Provide customer service at the gun counter and assist with product selection.
• Maintain safe handling, cleaning, and display of firearms and accessories.
• Keep area organized, restocked, and compliant with pricing and signage.
