Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Gun Vault Specialist to manage backroom firearms processes, conduct inventory, and assist customers at the gun counter. You will ensure compliance with ATF/state regulations while maintaining safety and accuracy in daily firearm operations.

The role requires 21+ with firearms ownership ability, in-store training, and a focus on accurate record-keeping and exceptional service. This full-time position supports a fast-paced hunting merchandise environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of retail experience.
• Must be 21+ and legally able to own firearms.
• Strong knowledge of ATF/state firearms regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Receive firearms daily and verify accuracy using ARMS; complete receipts and manifests.
• Dispose firearms to licensed dealers and verify disposition data for each transfer.
• Complete ATF and state forms for transfers; ensure compliance before sale.
• Provide counter sales and customer service at gun counter and related departments.
• Maintain firearms inventory, proper storage, and store cleanliness.
