Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Sales Outfitter - Firearms to maintain counter sales and customer service for firearms, and to assist with floor merchandise throughout the hunting department. The role involves greeting customers, understanding their needs, and guiding purchases with product knowledge and compliant processes.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 0–2 years in retail, be at least 21, and be prepared to promote store programs while ensuring safety and accuracy in firearm

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Firearms and Ammunition products.
• Familiar with ATF Federal and State regulations.
• Solid customer service and sales skills for firearms and ammunition.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the firearms counter and provide product recommendations.
• Ensure 4473 forms are completed thoroughly and accurately.
• Maintain firearm and merchandise presentation and stock on the floor.
• Promote store programs (CLUB membership, in-store pickup).
• Remain knowledgeable about current sales and pricing; follow merchandising guidelines.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
