Rural King is seeking a Firearms Sales Associate to provide knowledgeable customer service while assisting with firearms, ammunition, accessories, and related products. This role requires firearms product knowledge, sales and customer service skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of applicable firearms laws and regulations.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, providing product information, processing sales and documentation, and promoting safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in firearms sales, sporting goods, retail, or related fields.
• Knowledge of firearms, ammunition, accessories, safety practices, and applicable laws.
• Strong customer service, communication, and active listening skills.
• Ability to complete transactions and documentation accurately.
• Ability to use POS systems, computers, and retail technology.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and identify their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Provide knowledgeable, unbiased product information and recommendations.
• Assist customers with firearms, ammunition, accessories, and related products.
• Process sales, special orders, returns, payments, and required documentation accurately through the POS system.
• Support sales through promotions, upselling, cross-selling, RK Firearms Plus Protection Plan, and loyalty program awareness.
