Position Summary:

The Sales Outfitter - Firearms is responsible for maintaining Counter Sales and Customer Service for Firearms, along with Floor and Counter Sales of other Hunting Merchandise. They perform various selling/customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing information, assistance, and direction to customers.

Essential Functions:

1. Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers. Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs like CLUB membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup.
2. Ensure 4473 Forms are completed thoroughly and accurately.
3. Demonstrate product knowledge and organize merchandise within the store for sales at the Gun Counter.
4. Replenish products on shelves as required, maintain pricing and signage, and assist with seasonal merchandise moves.
5. Keep work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
6. Follow all company policies and procedures.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of retail experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Product knowledge of Firearms and Ammunition.
• Knowledge of ATF Federal and State Regulations.
• Customer service and sales experience with Firearms and Ammunition.
• Understanding of GCA regulations.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

Physical Requirements include standing/walking constantly, occasional use of ladders, operating machinery, lifting objects up to 100 pounds, working in confined spaces and noisy environments.
