This role emphasizes merchandise presentation, inventory control, and teamwork; you may assist across the store, answer phones, stock shelves, and participate in resets, with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Experience with firearms, fishing, hunting or outdoor gear preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and comply with policy.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work various retail shifts and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sell merchandise and advise customers on features both in person and by phone.
• Demonstrate product features and accessories to customers.
• Provide product knowledge and suggest alternatives.
• Verify information for firearms sales background checks.
• Utilize ATF, FBI, and state systems when appropriate.
• Receive and display merchandise; manage department inventory.
• Answer phones and handle routine inquiries.
• Perform floor maintenance and maintain inventory conditions.
