Job summary

D&B Supply is seeking a sales associate for the gun counter and sporting goods department in Nampa, ID. The role centers on direct customer service, firearms and related product sales, and processing background checks.

Candidates must be 18+ years old, pass a thorough background check, and be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Prior outdoors experience is valued; training and certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of firearms, shooting, scopes, ammo, reloading, and accessories required.
• Good communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with customers and staff on a regular basis.
• Must pass a thorough background check and be willing to work any retail shift.

Responsibilities

• Sell merchandise and advise customers on features and benefits in person and over the phone.
• Demonstrate product features and accessories; provide product knowledge and recommend alternatives.
• Verify information for firearms sales background checks and use ATF/FBI/state systems as appropriate.
• Handle store duties including inventory, shelving, pricing, and general housekeeping.
