Palmetto State Armory in Summerville, SC is hiring a retail associate to assist customers with purchases, including firearms and related items, while delivering the highest level of service. You will greet shoppers, explain options, and process sales in a fast-paced environment.

You must complete 4473 and related records accurately, maintain product knowledge, stay compliant, and help keep the store organized.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous sales or customer service experience.
• High attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of 4473 paperwork and the FBI NICS system preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, and able to deal with high customer volume.
• Cash handling and previous cash register experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication both orally and written.
• Ability to lead, motivate, mentor, communicate and generally interact with people in a positive way.
• Positive attitude, goal driven, customer service oriented, and focused on overall strategic picture of the organization.

Mansioni

• Assist customers with purchasing selections of firearms, class III items, ammunition, and related gear.
• Greet customers in a timely manner as they approach your work area.
• Resolve customer issues to the best of your ability.
• Maintain the store, including sweeping, dusting, restocking, and fronting.
• Complete 4473 and related documents with accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of product offerings to advise customers.
• Remain impartial in sales and avoid bias.
• Efficiently close sales to meet store goals.
• Reports to store manager and Department Lead for daily duties.
• Commit to following directions.
• All other duties as assigned.
