Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Mesa, AZ seeks a Team Leader for the firearms department under GSM/DM supervision. You will direct department associates in merchandising, customer service, and daily operations while maintaining safety and compliance with ATF and state laws.

You will train staff, schedule, interview candidates, and help achieve sales and payroll goals. Strong knowledge of products, security, and inventory control is essential to deliver a world-class shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: 2 to 4 Years in Retail Sales
• Supervisor experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead department associates and direct daily operations, including merchandising and customer service.
• Ensure firearm sales compliance with ATF and state/local laws.
• Achieve department sales, gross margin, and payroll goals.
• Maintain plan-o-grams and pricing as directed by Corporate Office.
• Staff department and participate in interviews and training.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues.
