Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Plant Engineering Supervisor for the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant. This role leads the Fire/Air/Ventilation group and coordinates with Operations, Maintenance, and project teams to implement engineering activities and ensure safety and quality across the program.

Responsibilities include directing staff, resolving technical issues, managing budgets/schedules, and ensuring compliance with environmental permits and regulations while mentoring engineers and maintaining design

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline or related science from a four-year accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 12 years of related professional experience with at least 3 years directing the work of others.

Responsibilities

• Assign and ensure Plant Engineering staff meet training requirements and maintain qualifications.
• Define technical resolutions for condition reports and complete corrective actions.
• Develop budget and schedule for the organization.
• Ensure health and safety of staff per ISMS principles.
• Interface across project organizations and track technical issues to closure.
• Lead engineers and specialists, fostering development and leadership.
• Maintain awareness of design and operating margins and ensure compliance.
