Job summary

Texas A&M University System's TEEX Extension Service in Texas Region 2 seeks a Wage Agency Instructor to deliver and coordinate fire extension training. The role emphasizes hands-on instruction, field delivery, and collaboration with training programs.

Responsibilities include delivering classes, coordinating conferences, area schools, and hand-offs with the National Fire Academy, reporting to the Training Coordinator, and supporting program growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of experience in adult education and/or training.
• Certification requirements include TCFP, SFFMA, TCOLE, DSHS, or TDEM, or an equivalent organization.
• Background in Fire/Rescue/Haz-Mat, EMS, Emergency Management, or Law Enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate classes, conferences, area schools, National Fire Academy hand-off, and field delivery courses.
• Assist with program planning and scheduling; report to the Training Coordinator.
• Support other training activities as assigned.
