Johnson Controls is seeking an Associate Project Manager in Des Moines to support profitable execution of Fire Systems Install projects. You will coordinate delivery, assist with early planning, and guide work from initiation to closeout with a focus on safety, cost, and schedule.

You will lead engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, manage billing and change orders, and ensure compliance with contract terms. Travel may be required to support project needs.

Formación

• Associate degree or 5+ years field experience in Building Construction.
• Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Writer, Visio.
• Ability to communicate technical material to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple project priorities, schedules, billing activities, and customer expectations.
• Travel may be required based on project assignment and needs.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate project delivery for small-dollar Fire Systems Install projects.
• Support early-stage planning, vendor selection, scope enhancements, and risk assessment.
• Provide work direction to engineers, designers, technicians, estimators, and subcontractors.
• Manage scope, costs, resources, schedules, risks, billing, and collections.
• Review contract terms, prepare cost estimates, and support customer acceptance.
