Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Hawaii is seeking a Fire Suppression Technician responsible for installation, inspection, service and repair of fire extinguishers, pre-engineered suppression systems, and related Detection & Control components, with minimal supervision.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2 years of Fire Life Safety experience, 2 years of professional computer skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel up to 90%.

Qualifications

• Two years of Fire Life Safety industry experience in fire suppression.
• Two years of professional computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service and repair fire extinguishers, pre-engineered suppression systems and Detection & Control components.
• Follow NFPA codes, standards, and safety procedures on each project.
• Troubleshoot and identify defective components and perform repairs as needed.
• Document work orders and maintain accurate records.
• Interact professionally with customers and ensure timely completion of projects.
