Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Suppression Technician in the Tulsa, OK area to install, inspect, service, and repair fire extinguishers, pre-engineered suppression systems, and Detection & Control components with minimal supervision.

The role requires applying NFPA codes and standards, troubleshooting defective parts, and maintaining safety documentation. Occasional travel is expected, and field service software will be used to track work orders and materials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years Fire Life Safety industry experience.
• 2 years professional computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service and repair extinguishers, pre-engineered suppression systems, and Detection & Control systems.
• Follow NFPA codes, standards, and safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot and identify defective components in suppression systems and detectors.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Document work orders and use Field Service Lightning for tracking.
