Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC seeks a Fire Suppression Service Technician to inspect, test, and maintain kitchen hood fire suppression systems across various facilities. You will ensure reliability, compliance with NFPA codes, and timely service delivery.

Responsibilities include testing, charging cylinders, diagnosing issues, documenting activities, and coordinating with clients. The role requires a valid license, strong communication, and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with NFPA 17 and related standards.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test kitchen hood fire suppression systems per NFPA 17 and NFPA 96.
• Perform routine maintenance on system components per NFPA specifications.
• Test and recharge agent cylinders and ensure proper pressurization.
• Identify and troubleshoot leaks, pressure issues, or faulty components and implement NFPA-compliant fixes.
• Repair and replace system components as needed and document work.
• Coordinate with clients to schedule service visits and provide system upgrade recommendations.
