Job summary

YDU JC Air Cond & Ref Inc.- Dubai is looking for a qualified technician in Hazelwood, Kentucky to perform service and repairs on fire safety systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and troubleshooting abilities, as well as the necessary certifications.

This position offers an hourly rate between $18–$24, along with benefits including 401(k) and medical care available from day one. A company vehicle and tools will be provided for job performance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and be able to perform service and repairs on fire safety systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and operational manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers and Kitchen Hood Systems.
• Manage daily service calls and customer activity professionally.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for emergency service.

Skills

Education

FEL‑A certification preferred

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems, and Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites.
• Service, troubleshoot, and install products from various manufacturers including Simplex and ANSUL.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational manuals.
• Manage daily service calls, customer activity, and program system products.
• Work with clean agent systems, dry chemical systems, and special hazard systems.
• Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for emergency service.
• Perform inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.
• Inspect customer systems and use smart phones and equipment as required; may include government work.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Outstanding customer‑facing service and problem‑solving skills.
• PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• FEL‑A certification preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications are a plus; ANSUL, Kiddie PyroChem, RMEI and preferred multi‑license.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
