Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC seeks a Fire Sprinkler Test & Inspection Technician in Tallahassee, FL. In-person role performing sprinkler inspections, testing devices, recording results, and generating reports. Requires NICET or ACE certification and several years in commercial systems.

Proficiency with Palm handhelds and MS Office is needed. Experience with NFPA standards, reliability, teamwork, and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• NICET certification or ACE Certification is required
• Five years' experience in commercial fire sprinkler systems
• NFPA standards knowledge and codes must be current

Responsibilities

• Conduct building sprinkler inspections and testing of control panels and devices
• Record test results and generate Sprinkler Inspection Reports and Certificates
• Download inspection data and prepare completed reports
• Assist Lead Inspector/Inspection Manager and participate in team meetings
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness of inspections and paperwork
