Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Florida is seeking a detail-oriented Sprinkler Inspector to perform building sprinkler inspections, test devices, record results, and generate reports. You will assist Lead Inspector/Inspection Manager by collecting data and producing paperwork such as Sprinkler Inspection Reports, Quick Reports, and Inspection Certificates.

The role requires knowledge of NFPA standards, NICET certifications preferred, strong communication, and the ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• NFPA standards knowledge and NICET certifications preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; customer service oriented.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Palm handheld devices and test equipment.
• Reliable transportation to/from office or job site.

Responsibilities

• Perform building sprinkler inspections and test panels.
• Record results and generate Sprinkler Inspection Reports and certificates.
• Download data after inspections and generate completed reports.
• Participate in monthly team meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
