Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a dedicated sprinkler inspector to inspect building systems, test devices, and document results. You will support the Lead Inspector and Inspection Manager in collecting data and producing Sprinkler Inspection Reports, Quick Reports, and Inspection Certificates for customers.

The role demands safety awareness, accuracy, and timely completion of duties, with opportunities for NICET certification and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with acceptable experience.
• Experience as a commercial fire sprinkler inspector.
• KY fire sprinkler inspector license required; study NFPA standards and NICET certifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inspections are completed on a timely basis and that inspections are done accurately and thoroughly.
• Test building sprinkler control panels, devices, and functions; enter results into Palm handheld device.
• Generate a completed Sprinkler Inspection Report after the inspection.
• Participate in monthly team meetings.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
