Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring a Fire SPRINKLER Technician I to inspect, test, service, and install fire sprinkler systems on client sites under supervision.

You will communicate findings to customers and help prepare repair quotes while maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with NFPA codes. The role requires a HS diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience, NICET certification or progress toward it, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• NICET Level I in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems or NICET Level I passed within 90 days of employment.
• NICET II certification preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights; valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and inspection of fire sprinkler systems per NFPA and local code standards.
• Communicate system performance and deficiencies to customers and account managers for accurate quoting of repairs.
• Prepare accurate inspection and service reports.
• Read blueprints and drawings; maintain truck inventory.
• Respond to after-hours service calls and work on MC Dean projects.
