Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems in various commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan and execute system installations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure the functionality and compliance of fire sprinkler systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with fire sprinkler components and systems.
  • Adhere to local, state, and national fire safety codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, construction professionals, and team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completed apprenticeship program or formal training in fire sprinkler system installation.
  • Relevant certifications, such as NICET, are a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work in diverse conditions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
