What you will do

  • Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions.
  • Contact customer representatives to ascertain equipment/system problems.
  • Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, including wet (steel, copper, and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
  • Follow troubleshooting procedures using technical manuals, part manuals, notices, and bulletins to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and manuals.
  • Provide effective customer service by communicating with staff and customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Complete Service Acknowledgements electronically with proper coding and customer signatures.
  • Participate in scheduled On-call rotations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What we look for

Required
  • Four years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler systems.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and manuals.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform physical labor up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to work in challenging positions, including climbing ladders and working at heights up to 40 feet.
  • Flexibility to work hours including weekends and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Maintain truck inventory and adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Possess a valid driver's license meeting company standards.
  • Pass pre-employment background and drug tests.
Preferred
  • NICET Level II certification.
