What you will do
- Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions.
- Contact customer representatives to ascertain equipment/system problems.
- Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, including wet (steel, copper, and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
- Follow troubleshooting procedures using technical manuals, part manuals, notices, and bulletins to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and manuals.
- Provide effective customer service by communicating with staff and customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Complete Service Acknowledgements electronically with proper coding and customer signatures.
- Participate in scheduled On-call rotations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What we look for
Required
- Four years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler systems.
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and manuals.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to follow instructions and perform physical labor up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to work in challenging positions, including climbing ladders and working at heights up to 40 feet.
- Flexibility to work hours including weekends and participate in on-call rotations.
- Maintain truck inventory and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Possess a valid driver's license meeting company standards.
- Pass pre-employment background and drug tests.
Preferred
- NICET Level II certification.
