Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Systems Inspector

Salary: $74,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year

Job Summary: As a fire sprinkler system inspector, you will be responsible for completing service requests at various locations within your territory. We seek state-licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspectors. Your duties include inspecting and testing fire sprinkler systems, Fire Pumps, and Hydrants to ensure they function effectively and meet NFPA standards. You will also adjust or repair malfunctioning systems and perform basic sprinkler inspections. We are looking for dependable, self-motivated individuals with a positive attitude to work efficiently in our fast-paced environment.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

1. Schedule fire sprinkler system inspections.
2. Conduct tests and inspections on fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.
3. Coordinate with the local fire department to prevent response during testing.
4. Repair systems if necessary or inform the Service Department of customer needs.
5. Advise customers of test and inspection results.
6. Maintain excellent communication with your Area Coordinator regarding inspections, rescheduling, etc.
7. Ensure good written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal skills are also required.

Position Details

1. Full-time position with 40+ hours weekly.
2. Responsible for efficient completion of service calls.
3. Identify emergencies and respond promptly to support customers.
4. Use geographical maps, Google Maps, and interpret maps for scheduling.

Customer Service Responsibilities

1. Handle incoming calls with customers and office staff.
2. Accurately document all service calls.
3. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of post-high school education preferred.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
3. Proficiency with Apple/Android tablets.
4. Excellent communication and listening skills.
5. Availability to work M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility.
6. Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and use an 8-ft ladder.
7. NICET certification and/or fire sprinkler background is a plus.
8. Valid driver’s license required.
9. Travel is 100%; remote work is available.
