Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a skilled technician to install, inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings. You will service wet, dry, and pre-action systems, perform system checks, and complete detailed reports with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires at least 4 years of experience, strong troubleshooting ability, and a clean driving record. You will work both independently and as part of a team, following safety protocols and company

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience servicing and troubleshooting fire sprinkler systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills required.
• Good interpersonal skills; able to work in a team and independently.
• Clean driving record.
• Knowledge of fire safety principles and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on sprinkler fire suppression systems.
• Service and inspections of wet, dry and pre-action fire suppression systems.
• Install, maintain, repair, or replace fire sprinkler equipment in accordance with codes.
• Test and repair alarms and ensure alarms are installed per code.
• Complete detailed inspection reports accurately and timely.
• Respond to emergency service calls and maintain a safe workspace.
