Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a skilled Sprinkler Service Technician to independently service, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems. The role requires diagnosing deficiencies, using hand tools and testing equipment, and ensuring NFPA compliance.

You will document work, communicate with customers, and travel to job sites as needed. Ideal candidates hold a High School diploma, 3+ years in fire and life safety, NICET Level I+ preferred, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as an apprentice or technician.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems and service procedures.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

Responsibilities

• Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Accurately and timely complete required documentation and service reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Support and assist entry-level technicians and apprentices as needed.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
