Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to service wet, dry, pre-action systems, pumps, and standpipes. You will diagnose issues, repair components, and test systems to ensure NFPA and local code compliance.

Strong communication with customers and on-site coordination are essential. The role requires two years in fire safety, enrollment in a sprinkler apprentice program, and ability to travel for site work as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in the Fire and Life Safety industry.
• Enrolled in and actively going through Sprinkler Apprentice Program.
• Knowledge of NFPA concepts and local codes.
• Ability to read and install from fire system design drawings.
• Ability to travel occasionally overnight, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect wet, dry, and pre-action sprinkler systems and pumps.
• Perform preventative maintenance and replace faulty components.
• Test systems and verify compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Complete detailed inspection and service reports.
• Ensure documentation and AHJ reports meet requirements.
• Communicate with customers professionally and provide updates.
• Order parts and maintain equipment and vehicle.
