Job summary

SciensBuilding Solutions seeks an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Tech to service all sprinkler systems and components per NFPA standards. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and provide detailed reports while communicating effectively with customers and team members.

This role requires two years in Fire and Life Safety, ongoing Sprinkler Apprentice Program participation, and the ability to work independently with occasional on-site travel.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Fire and Life Safety industry.
• Enrolled in Sprinkler Apprentice Program.
• Reading and installing from fire system design drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of wet, dry, pre-action, fire pumps, and standpipes.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of sprinkler components.
• Diagnose problems and implement fixes to ensure proper function.
• Test system after repairs to verify NFPA and local code compliance.
• Complete detailed reports of tests, inspections, and service work.
• Communicate with customers professionally and manage on-site issues.
