Fire Safety and Protection is seeking a Sprinkler Technician to inspect, test, maintain, and service fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes. The role requires independent work and collaboration to ensure safety, compliance, and accurate reporting of service activities.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in fire alarm or security system installation, NICET certification (preferred), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in fire alarm or security system installation and maintenance.
• NICET Certification in Fire Alarm Systems (Level II or higher preferred).
• Hold the appropriate local/state license by jurisdiction.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
• Inspect wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems.
• Test valves, fire department connections, water flow devices, pressure gauges, and alarm devices.
• Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot system impairments, leaks, and mechanical failures.
• Perform minor repairs and coordinate major repairs with supervisors.
• The ability to operate lifts.
• Respond to emergency service calls, impairments, and system outages as required.
• Ensure systems are restored to service safely and promptly.
• Accurately complete inspection reports, deficiency reports, and service documentation.
• Communicate findings clearly to customers, supervisors, and team members.
• Ability to use mobile devices and service software.
• Maintain compliance documentation and service records.
• Maintain professional communication with customers on job sites.
• Explain inspection results, deficiencies, and recommended repairs.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures during fieldwork.
• Support a culture of safety by promoting safe work practices and addressing safety concerns professionally.
