Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety seeks a Sprinkler Service Technician in Florida to independently service, maintain and repair fire sprinkler systems. The role may be at Journeyman level and requires adherence to NFPA standards and company procedures.

You will diagnose deficiencies, document work, and travel to job sites while supporting entry-level technicians. A high school diploma and a clean driving record are required; NICET Level I or above is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems and service procedures.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

Responsibilities

• Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Accurately and timely complete required documentation and service reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Support and assist entry-level technicians and apprentices as needed.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
