Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Florida is seeking a Sprinkler Service Technician to independently service, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems while ensuring NFPA and local code compliance. You will document work, communicate with customers, and support junior technicians.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and 3+ years in fire and life safety; NICET is preferred. This is a full-time role with travel to various job sites and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in fire and life safety industry as apprentice or technician.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• FASA/BASA preferred.
• Clean driving record and active driver's license if driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Accurately and timely complete required documentation and service reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Support and assist entry-level technicians and apprentices as needed.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
