Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Service Technician to perform service, maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler systems. The role requires independence, strong technical competency, and the ability to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities include diagnosing deficiencies, using hand tools, documenting work, and ensuring NFPA and local code compliance. Travel to job sites is required; NICET Level I+ and FASA/BASA are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in fire and life safety as apprentice or technician.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• FASA/BASA preferred.
• Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems and service procedures.
• Clean driving record and active driver’s license if driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Complete documentation and service reports accurately and timely.
