Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a skilled Sprinkler Service Technician to install, inspect, test, and repair fire sprinkler systems across diverse commercial sites. You will ensure NFPA compliance and deliver high-quality service with minimal supervision.

The role involves troubleshooting, documenting work, and traveling to job sites. Candidates should have strong technical competency and a track record in fire and life safety, with NICET preferred and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fire and life safety industry
• NICET Level I or above preferred
• Clean driving record and active driver's license if driving is required

Responsibilities

• Install new fire sprinkler systems including wet, dry, pre-action, foam and special hazard systems according to blueprints and specs
• Conduct routine inspections, flow tests, and system checks for NFPA standards and local codes
• Troubleshoot, repair or replace components and perform preventive maintenance
• Maintain accurate electronic records of installations, inspections and repairs
• Perform emergency service calls to address system failures promptly
• Travel to job sites as required
• Assist and mentor entry-level technicians as needed
