Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to inspect, test, repair and maintain fire sprinkler systems ensuring NFPA compliance and occupant safety. You will work with clients, contractors and authorities to resolve issues and uphold system integrity.

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in fire alarm systems or related field preferred.
NICET certifications strongly preferred.
Prior experience with fire sprinkler systems in commercial/industrial settings helpful.

Responsibilities

Inspect, test, repair and maintain wet, dry and pre-action fire sprinkler systems per NFPA 25 requirements.
Prepare detailed reports of inspections, tests and deficiencies.
Test system components including heads, valves, piping, pumps and controls for proper operation.
Inspect piping for corrosion or damage and recommend repairs or replacements.
Perform maintenance on sprinkler systems and replace worn parts as needed.
Inspect fire pump assemblies and test performance parameters.
Respond to service calls and emergencies to restore function quickly.
Document all service activities in the company system and coordinate with other teams.
