Description

Firetron is seeking a seasoned, reliable commercial fire sprinkler technician with a high level of customer service, strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly.

Job Type

Full-time

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs based on deficiency lists and call-ins.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
• Follow troubleshooting procedures and refer to manuals, notices, and bulletins to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and manuals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory codes per County, State, and Federal Fire codes.

Requirements

• Experience with power tools, threaders, and essential tools.
• Ability to plan and prioritize tasks efficiently without supervision.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Minimum three years of field experience with sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, fire pump).
• Ability to work safely in live environments with many occupants.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Work in challenging positions, including climbing ladders and working at heights up to 60 feet.
• Flexible working hours, including weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Maintain truck inventory for timely responses.
• Perform physical labor, including lifting up to 70 lbs.
