Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and install fire sprinkler systems at customer sites. The role requires interpreting blueprints and electrical diagrams, performing skilled troubleshooting, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The position offers a sign-on bonus and an hourly compensation range. Candidates should be prepared for on-site work with some on-call rotation and potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Fire Sprinkler systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and specifications.
• Capable of performing physical labor including lifting up to 50–70 lbs.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls and contact customer representatives to verify problems.
• Diagnose issues and repair electronic fire sprinkler systems and related building systems at customer sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals and specs to guide repairs.
• Follow troubleshooting procedures and refer to manuals for repair instructions.
• Provide high level customer service and document work performed.
