Job summary

Fast-growing fire protection leader in Freehold, NJ seeks a Fire Sprinkler Service Department Leader to drive operational excellence across service and inspections. You will direct daily operations, staffing, and on-call rotations to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, profitability, and team development within a safety-focused culture. Requires extensive fire protection experience, leadership, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leader with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Minimum 10 years of fire sprinkler installation, service, and/or inspections.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership or business management experience.
• Minimum 2 years of direct P&L responsibility.
• NFPA standards and state/local code knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily service and inspection operations to maximize efficiency and meet commitments.
• Oversee work order management, scheduling, and timely reporting.
• Ensure proper staffing and allocate technicians and resources effectively.
• Coordinate emergency service and on-call rotation.
• Review inspection reports, deficiencies, and repair proposals.
• Conduct site visits to address customer concerns or evaluate needs.
• Develop and maintain service pricing structures and quotes.
• Monitor job costs, including materials, rentals, subcontractors and labor.
