Impact Fire Services, LLC is seeking a self-motivated Fire Sprinkler Lead Technician to join our team in New York. This role emphasizes customer service, professional communication, and building rapport with customers while performing essential sprinkler system work.

The Lead Technician will handle installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge) and ensure compliance with NFPA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience installing fire sprinkler pipe systems, fire pumps and valves.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate with employees and customers.
• Ability to operate a computer and tablet.
• Understanding and applying NFPA 13 and 25 codes.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action and deluge.
• Identify trouble areas and perform service to ensure proper sprinkler operation.
• Sprinkler and Backflow Systems Installation, Repair, & Service.
• Install/hang sprinkler systems and components per NFPA and engineering guidelines.
• Repair and/or replace all sprinkler system components, including fire pumps.
• Disassembly, repair, and installation of sprinkler and backflow valves (license pending); inspect wet, dry, pre-action, deluge systems.
