Job summary

Impact Fire Services is hiring a lead sprinkler technician to inspect, install, repair, and commission wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam sprinkler systems. You will work with a team to ensure NFPA-compliant installations and timely system testing.

The role emphasizes strong communication with customers, adherence to safety and licensing requirements, and partnering with management for continuous service improvements.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Fire Sprinkler Journeyman License is required or ability to attain
• 1-3 years field experience in Sprinkler and Backflow systems service
• Fire and/or Life Safety Systems experience
• Must have or be able to attain state Sprinkler and/or Backflow Licenses
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to visually inspect and service systems
• Ability to recognize alarm sights and sounds
• Knowledge of NFPA codes
• Experience with sprinkler piping tools and backflow equipment

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, and repair wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam sprinkler systems
• Test systems and verify alarms and sprinklers are operating
• Prepare installation paperwork and submit to branch management
• Report deficiencies to Department Manager
• Collaborate with customers to establish rapport and trust
