Job summary

Century Fire Protection Orlando - Sanford, FL is seeking a full-time installer to assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems in commercial, residential, and industrial settings. You will lay out pipe strings, connect pipe with snap lock or wrench, and attach sprinkler heads along the pipeline, while communicating safety hazards to supervisors.

We require a high school diploma or GED, or 0-6 months related experience.

• High School Diploma or GED; or 0-6 months related experience or training.

• Lays out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field.
• Connects pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
• Attaches revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
• Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times.

Summary

Assist in the installation of wet, dry, pre-action and deluge fire protection piping, valves and accessories for commercial, residential buildings, and industrial applications in compliance with current codes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications
• Lays out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field.
• Connects pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
• Attaches revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
• Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times.

Additional Requirements:

• Pre-employment drug screens; overtime may be required.

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED; or 0-6 months related experience or training.
