Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking a diligent helper to assist in installing wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire protection piping and accessories for commercial, residential, and industrial projects in Jacksonville, FL.

You will support installation activities, lay out pipe runs, connect fittings, and ensure a clean, safe work site while complying with current codes and company safety policies. A high school diploma or GED is required; 0–6 months of related experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 0-6 months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications
• Lays out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field.
• Connects pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
• Attaches revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
• Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times.

Summary
