Job summary

Century Fire Protection LLC in Ocala, FL is seeking a full-time helper to assist in installing wet, dry, pre-action and deluge fire protection piping, valves and accessories for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings in compliance with current codes.

You will support installation and repair of sprinkler systems, lay out pipes, connect sections, and ensure safe, clean job sites while following foreman directions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 0-6 months related experience or training.

• Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications
• Lays out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field.
• Connects pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
• Attaches revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
• Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times.
